Michael has an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services, and holds a Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner (FChFP) through the Association of Financial Advisers. He regularly attends seminars and forums to keep up to date with how he can continually refresh his industry knowledge.
Michael began his working life with a National food distribution company, and over 15 years worked his way up to the role of sales manager, where he continued to support his family while studying for a future in financial services. Once he earned the required qualifications, Michael worked with an established financial services group in North West Tasmania for almost 6 years, before leaving to create his own company: Michael Chettle Financial Planning.
Away from work you will find Michael enjoying time with his family, watching his beloved Hawks and taking bushwalks. Michael is happily married to Billie-Jean for 21 years, they have 2 sons and a daughter.
Michael has a long history of playing Football and Cricket. He is involved with Wynyard Football Club and Wynyard Cricket Club in a coaching role with the Juniors. He is also coach and player with the Myalla Cricket Club. Michael is a life member of the Yolla Football Club.
Michael’s driving force in business is to help make a difference in his client’s lives. He does this by providing them with strategic advice on investments, super and lifestyle protection. Michael does, however, regard Money Management to be a key driver in offering clients their best chance at achieving their lifestyle and financial goals.
Michael is a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA).
